-We make sure we are outside walking in the sunlight for at least 30-45 minutes a day. Vitamin D boosts immunity, & it's always better to get it naturally, rather than taking supplements.
-We have taken to eating lots of citrus fruits. Adding clementines & mandarins to almost every meal to increase the intake of Vitamin C, also known for helping fight colds & flu.
Finally, the placebo effect is well-known among medical professionals as a powerful incentive in keeping people healthy. Simply put, believing something is helping you ultimately becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. PS-TakeAway Tip: With all the hand-washing we do, we've found that switching to glycerin soap is kinder to the skin. It doesn't lather as much, but does the same job. Just remember to put it in a dish that drains, so it won't melt too fast!
